2 years ago - Are there any markets in lanzarote during the summer?

If you can travel around the island, there are markets on every day of the week. Local produce and craft ones in Recova Market (Arrecife), Uga, Haria and Mancha Blanca. The huge one on a Sunday at Teguise, smaller ones in Costa Teguise (Pueblo Marinero) and Playa Blanca (Marina Rubicón).

2 years ago - will Puerto del Carmen be lively in Feb??

You'll be in Puerto del Carmen for the carnaval event which is massive! Still waiting for the official date but likely to be Saturday 20th Feb. Bring your fancy dress outfits if you want to join in rather than watch. You'll always find plenty going on in Centro Atlantico and the old harbour area too.
