HI, WE STAYED IN FICUS APARTMENTS LAST SEPTEMBER AND WE DIDN'T HAVE MANY COMPLAINTS AT ALL.. THE FOOD WAS GREAT ALMOST EVERY NIGHT (THEY DID A CHINESE NIGHT WHICH WASN'T TO OUR LIKING BUT 1 BAD NIGHT OUT OF 10 ISN'T BAD).. POOL AREA IS NICE BUT MAKE SURE YOU GET A SUNBED EARLY. WORST THINGS IS THE BAR AREA IS VERY SMALL AND BASIC WITH LITTLE ENTERTAINMENT AND NO SEATING NEAR THE POOL BAR OR ANYWHERE TO SIT AND CHILL. ITS ABOUT 10 OR 15 MINS FROM BEACH. WALK OVER THE WASTLAND IT WILL CUT A BIG CORNER OFF.. LEGENDS BAR AND CACTUS JACKS ARE 5 MINS UP THE ROAD, BOTH HAVE GOOD ENTERTAINMENT AND ATMOSPHERE EVERY NIGHT.. OVERALL THE FICUS IS OK AND ALTHOUG I'M GOING AGAIN THIS YEAR BUT NEARER THE CENTRE I WOULD RETURN TO FICUS AGAIN IF PRICE WAS RIGHT

hi we was in ct last year and it was so friendly we are going again this august, i had never snorkled before but we visited 3 beaches ( the main beach on webcam, the one at the far end near sands beach resort and the little cove in front of occidental hotel) all were fab for snorkling with warm clear sea and loads of fish.. all the bars and resturants are very welcoming we loved the chinese buffet opposite the occidental great food all you can eat for 7.95.. the best bars we went in was legends and jumping jacks opposite each other, great entertainment every night, also splash bar near webcam.. fear not you'll love ct
