Hello,
We first went to Costa Teguise, Lanzarote in early November 1998 - the weather was awesome. About 75-80 degrees and sunny every day, even the night times were warm.
We were swimming and sunbathing every day - and because it was'nt the extreme heat that can occur in the area in the summertime, it was comfortable enough to stay out all day (dont forget your cream of course).
You obviously cannot guarantee the weather but i'd be quietly optimistic that it should be good.
Have a great trip.

Hello,
From my experience you can expect the weather to be hot at the end of July.
We went to Costa Teguise last year at the end July/Early Aug and it was unbearable at times.
It certainly was NOT windy, it was calm and sunny - on arriving home i checked the stats and the temperaure was between 98 and 107 degrees for that 5 day period during our stay - You have been warned!

Hi,
We have visited Costa Teguise many times and on our ritual of evening walks nearly always found leaflets from companies offering trips around the island(usually placed on walls outside restaurents etc).
They offer transport to the places on offer and i'd guess that the entrance fee is included in the price.
I have no idea what these companies will charge for the trip to Fire Mountain, but as i remember they all follow a similar 'booking' system - that is, they have a series of 'Pick up' points in the area, and you simply pay as you get on the bus - but the trip maybe part of a larger tour, ie; a north or south island tour.
They seemed popular so i guess that if you have no other way of getting to there, they may be worth a chance.
I'd also imagine that you may find leaflets from companies offering trips in the reception area of your accommadation.
Have a good trip.

There are many fantastic family friendly restaurents in Costa teguise so please leave your 'other' life behind for a while and try one of these on your visit to this wonderful island.

Hi,
It literally means 'Person or Persons or Passenger(s)'
ie; 2 persons/Passengers per room/apartment allowed or price based on this amount of people.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
We were in Costa Teguise last year and did the usual trips around the car hire places, you would naturally think that the smaller independent hire firms would have been the cheapest - but we found that HERTZ had the best choice of vehicles AND ended up being the cheapest too.
They had the vehicle we wanted and it was ready within the hour.
Most of the smaller places had very limited cars available(unless you wanted to wait several days) and then they tended to offer what they 'had' rather than what you wanted.
I'm not saying Hertz would be the best option for yourselves, but it could well be worth your while checking them out.
(ps i dont work for them!)
Have a good hol.
