This maybe a stupid question but does anybody know what the weather is usually like in August?
Going for 2 weeks with patner and kids (aged 12 & 4) - looking at the recent webcam pics, it's looking rather cloudy everyday?

Weather websites have different temps all the time, one will say 26 degrees where another will say 40 degrees for the same day.....what is about right and does it cool down alot in the evening?
We have no air-con at the hotel, would we need to take fans??

Thank you for any replies.
Tina
Weather will be hot even if it is cloudy... we go this Monday for 2 We go the same two weeks, or as near as every year, and it has always been scorching.

I found it only cools down enough for a very light cardi, when it does cool down, but most nights that is not needed...only occasionally.

Remember you can still burn even if it overcaste ...my 16 yr old daughter goes mad as I am permanantly on at her to keep reapplying her sun cream....believe me you DO need too..as the tradewinds get you even if the sun is behind the clouds. The winds are only a breeze though, and that is most often a warm breeze, so don't worry.
