hi we are coming to ct on the 4th sept i cant wait as we havent visited for 2 years...i was wondering about the price guides and which is the best car rental company i will need a 6 seater for a couple of days...also do i need my own insurance or will the company provide this ...this is the first time i wiil have hired a car abroad thats why the questions may seem daft to some of you...we have transfers from and to the airport so i dont need to hire from there thnx..any advise is much appreciated

autoreisen seems to be the best and is company that we use when in lanzarote although your going to pay more for a six seater, all the companys offer insurance but some and you need to check also have no excess but you need to check because if you do have a bump it could cost you up to 500 euros. it may depend on where your staying and whether or not your going to pay for transfers but you could hire from the airport which we do, just with the cost of transfers and excursions and going to the market in teguise that alone cost us over 150 euros in taxi fees the first time we went.So we now hire a car for a week for less than 150 plus its so easy to get the around the island its well worth it
