Crime in Costa Teguise (#298)
Hello, first visit to Costa Teguise, no updates on the crime rate since 2007 here so can any one please update please. We usually go to Tenerife but there is a high rise in crime, endless muggings, pickpockets and apts being burgled, hopefully we have made a good decision, going to Costa Teguise Nov.2009.

we are fortunate, since I've been on the island crime is low. dont listen to the hotel/travel company reps who say it isnt safe to go out after 9pm. it is! They want you to spend in hotel etc.
