Re Galeon Playa (#293)
Hi hope you can help am going to CT staying at Galeon Playa in August, has anyone been recently ? whats it like also is it near the square where the market is . Another thing , any info on the exchange rate just now would be a

The square in Copsta Teguise is just a few minutes away. There is a market there on Tuesday and Friday evening. For the summer. then in October the Tuesday one moves to Thursday morning.
exchange rate is around 1.15€ to the pound today 22.7.09. The Galeon Playa is just across the road from Jablillo beach and a few minuites from Las Cucharas Beach. Enjoy your stay.

Hello Annie, My partner and I for the last 2 years have been going to this hotel. If you get a room at the front its a lovely view across the main road onto the beach opposite, all within 50 mtrs. The rooms are well kept and the food (buffet service) is well worth the stay, but get there as there opeining you get the best choice.
If you mean the sunday market in Tequise thats not in CT. The exchange rate is so unpredictable at the moment I can not advise. Hope this is of help daw
