Hi I stayed in tis hotel during the summer... its a really nice hotel, very friendly staff and the location is excellent.. the hotel is a bit basic but its well worth the money lol the beach bar is very nice food is great lol the 2 pools are always clean and quite big, entertainment every night except thurs/sat but with saxo across the road you probably wont be staying in lol i stayed in the old block and i have to say there was nothing at all wrong with lol i really dont know why there was bad reviews, it was me and my 2 kids (both 14) they loved it and families we got to know there felt the same and have booked to go bck next summer just like us!!

Well, got back on Friday and must say had a lovely time.
As mentioned by a couple of people, the apartments are very basic and i don't think they should be advertised as self catering as theres only so much you can cook for 5 people on just 2 hob rings with no oven or grill.
The place just needs tarting up (which they are doing bit by bit) and it would be great. The windows in our apartment were held shut with folded up pieces of cardboard and blew open when the wind was bad. The sink taps in the kitchen came off every time you turned them on, the baths/showers had been painted over and this was peeling off which wasn't very nice and we had to call the handy man out a couple of times as the toilets refused to flush.
BUT.....we were on holiday and didn't really spend too much time in the apartment as the weather was so nice. The one thing i did come back with was a fantastic tan !
The pools are great, if bloody cold ! The one round the back (the big round one) looks a bit manky in the pics you see, but it was the best one to be honest and quite large. It was very quite and the kids could play in there without disturbing anyone.
Whilst we were there it was carnival time which was amazing....nothing like i've ever seen before over here....but some Spanish people came to stay at our apartments for the carnival weekend and we didn't appreciate the fact that we were kept awake for that weekend.
All in all, i'd go back to CT anytime, just wouldn't stay at the Punta Jablillo until its been refurbed. Husband ended up sleeping on the sofa as it was more comfortable than the beds !!
