general cost and prices (#188)
hi folks im arriving in costa teguise on the 29th jan and would like to know the cost of a pint, meal, wine tec in general, is it expensive or are bars doing deals now???

We had a weeks holiday early January 2009 and found the prices high in the bars and also supermarkets. We were told some places have put prices up and with the exchange rate it not a cheap holiday anymore. The bars and restaurants were very quiet. We had a week same time last year and you could see the difference. Love the place so we will go back

you can get local beer (large one) from 1.50€ and local spirits from 2.50€
meals can be cheap depending on what you want. some offer say 3 courses for as little aas 9€ and there are many chinese buffets from around 7€ plenty of space too!
