passport running out! (#181)
we are planning on going to lanzarote in april for 2 wks but our passports run out in october and we were told that some countries dont let you in with less than 6 months on your passport is this the case for lanzarote???

Hi we're having the same problem as you, our travel agent said that it didnt affect lanzarote, just more like bulgaria, egypt etc..

i only know when we came for the first time ours ran out before the 6 months and we had to get one. i would suggest doign it, better safe than sorry, enjoy our island.

Play safe and renew - if you renew in advance of your old passport running out (Maximum 6 months) you get that "credited" to your new pasport - ie it will be vaild for 10 years and 6 months.
